Clergy and Laity of the Central South District:
Foundations throughout the church and the Texas Annual Conference, we promote and support education and campus ministry. With almost 4800 students living on one of the most diverse campuses in the US, the UH Wesley Foundation is uniquely positioned to "go and make disciples of all nations."
The Wesley Foundation at University of Houston supports students in their endeavor to grow in Christ through Weekly Worship, Bible Studies, Leadership Development opportunities, an annual student retreat, and mission outreach activities. The Wesley Foundation at UH is open to all University of Houston students.
The UH Wesley Board of Directors is reaching out to every church in the Central South District. We are asking you to consider donating to the Foundation to assist us in making sure that we can provide all the support that students need to have a successful experience while attending the University of Houston. Can we count on you for your financial support by making the Wesley Foundation at UH a part of your budget or year-in giving? Wesley Foundations of the United Methodist Church are places where college students can find guidance and a life in Christ that they can apply in their daily living. We will appreciate your donation -- no matter how small or large?
Also, does your church have any students attending the University of Houston? If so, would you please send us their name and contact information? We would love to contact them and to ensure that they are aware of our ministry.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Blessings,
